Accessible Signature Capture
A simple signature-capture tool designed to be usable without sight. You can explore the signing area before drawing, then explicitly turn capture on and off.
Privacy: Your signature is processed entirely on your device. Nothing you draw is uploaded or transmitted anywhere.
Touchpad: Explore the signing area without drawing. Press Space to turn capture on, move your finger to draw without clicking or pressing down, then press Space again to turn capture off. Touchscreen or stylus: turn capture on, then draw while touching the signing area. Escape always turns capture off.
Keyboard: Space toggles capture. Escape stops capture. Alt+C clears. Alt+S saves.
Laptop touchpad: In Capture mode, simply move your finger. You do not need to click or press the touchpad down. When capture is turned off, the status will say “Signature detected” if drawing was recorded.
All saved images are automatically cropped around the ink with a small margin. PNG and GIF use a transparent background. JPG uses a white background because JPEG does not support transparency.
